The party branch arrived at the former site of the New Fourth Army Headquarters in Jingxian County, Anhui Province. When they entered the memorial hall, the heavy sense of history hit them. The old buildings, the well-organized displays, and the extant photos and documents made us more intuitively feel the tenacity and perseverance shown by the New Fourth Army in the face of pressure and difficulties.
The memorial hall vividly displays the years of the New Fourth Army's heroic resistance against Japanese aggression. Those unknown heroes paid a huge price to defend the country and the people's freedom and dignity with their tenacious perseverance and spirit of sacrifice. Their deeds are awe-inspiring and make us deeply feel the hardships of that period.
Through this activity, the profound meaning of "knowing history can love the party, knowing history can love the country" is interpreted. Revisiting history, feeling the present, following the party closely, inheriting the red culture, and remembering the martyrs can only be proved by actions.
